Lots of (OLD) Money

Did you know that the United States government at one point circulated bills worth much more than $100?
There was the $500,





The $1,000 bill,





The $5,000 bill,





The $10,000 bill,





And even a $100,000 bill, that was never circulated. It was a gold certificate used within the government and was never released to the general public.





These bills are very rare and would cost a collector much more than the value printed on the bill. Good luck spending these on the street however, many people will find them fake; people have enough problems passing $2 bills sometimes.
